City of Judah was birthed out of a vision to create a place where worship is pure, the Word is alive, and broken lives are restored. In October 2021, under the faithful leadership of Pastor Karen Hoskins, city of Judah opened its doors not just as a church, but as a healing place a sanctuary for those hungry for God’s presence and desperate for real change.
After years of ministering in the word and song, Pastor Karen felt a divine call to build something different — a city of praise, a place where people could encounter God in an authentic, life-changing way. The name City of Judah was chosen intentionally: Judah means “praise,” and this ministry was founded on the belief that praise has the power to break chains, shift atmospheres, and usher in God’s glory.
What began as a step of faith has grown into one of Indy’s fastest-growing ministries. In just a short time, City of Judah has become a staple in the city known for its passionate worship, powerful preaching, and a heart for community impact. It is a place where the hurting are healed, the lost are found, and every generation is equipped to live out their purpose.
City of Judah is more than a church it’s a movement of restoration, revival, and radical faith. And this is just the beginning.
