Born and raised on the Eastside of Indianapolis, Pastor Karen Hoskins is a devoted servant of Christ, a passionate leader, and a voice of hope in her community. The second of eight children, she dedicated her life to Christ at an early age and has been faithfully serving in ministry ever since.
Affectionately known as Pastor Karen, she began declaring the Word of the Lord in 2002 and was ordained as an Elder in 2008. With a heart for outreach and a calling to serve, she has dedicated her life to evangelism, advocacy, and empowering others.
Pastor Karen is:
- A National Award-Winning Recording Artist
- A Certified Life Coach & First Responder Mental Health Coach
- The Founder & CEO of “Daughters of Deborah”,
a nonprofit organization assisting girls and women affected by abuse, displacement, sex trafficking, and hardship.
Her ministry is deeply rooted in serving the community, from clothing the naked and feeding the hungry to providing shelter for those in need. She firmly believes that Kingdom work is not just within the church walls but in the lives we touch daily.
Above all, family is her first ministry. A proud mother of three daughters and one son, Foster Mom, and a loving grandmother to two, she cherishes the time she spends with her family. Known for her fried pork chops and peach cobbler, she finds joy in feeding both the body and the soul—ensuring that all who encounter her leave encouraged, enlightened, and enriched.
Now, answering the call to plant a ministry where it all began, Pastor Karen is committed to creating a space of faith, healing, and transformation at City of Judah.
